How to Join the Board
Each year, the Vernon Speed Skating Club hosts an Annual AGM which coincides with the Annual Awards Night. This AGM gives members an opportunity to vote on issues, have a voice, and sign up for our many volunteer positions. We encourage parents to get involved, to help make our community of speed skaters an enjoyable and lasting Club. If you wish to volunteer specifically for a Board position, please allow your name to stand at the AGM and we will follow the policies toward selecting an individual. We thank you in advance for your commitment to this Club and to the skaters.
Members Handbook
The Members Handbook is a comprehensive manual with information, policies, competition formats, and club structure. Most questions are answered in this handbook. Please refer to the handbook as often as you like to understand more about the Vernon Speed Skating Club and the sport of speed skating in general.
